Registration

Theoretically, all foreigners visiting or living in Minsk must register with OVIR (Department of Visas and Registration) within three days. If you stay in a hotel you will automatically be registered when you check in. If you are staying in a private flat it is up to you to register with the OVIR office in the district from which your invitation to Belarus originated.
