National Museum of Belarusian History and Culture

Ancient history of Belarus and Belarusians' way of life. Permanent exhibition of unique things made from stone, bone, wood, as well as archeological, ethnographic and other exhibits.

Museum of Ancient Belarusian Culture

Halls of archeology, popular arts and paintings demonstrate the history and Belarusian people's traditions.

State Museum of Belarusian Folk Architecture and Everyday Life

Permanent exhibition  of genuine  Belarusian things of every day life as well as examples of specific features of folk architecture.

Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Zaslavl"

Tourists get to know peculiarities of the mode of life in the Belarusian province of the early XX century. Tours to a village house, barn, smithy and ethnographic complex "The Mill" are led by people in historical costumes. In the village house the guests are greeted by the miller's wife Zosya, who invites everybody to a table, where Belarusian national dishes can be enjoyed. Besides, this museum complex arranges exhibitions of tapestry and Belarusian national musical instruments.

Museum of Nature and Ecology of Republic of Belarus

Permanent  exhibition   presenting  the fauna and the flora of Belarus.

Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War

Vast collection of documents and relics of Belarusian people's heroic struggle with German fascist invaders. The exposition tells about the history of freedom-fighters' movement and military activities of the Soviet Army on the territory of Belarus.

First Congress of the Russian Social-Democratic Workers' Party Museum

Founded in 1923, this museum was formerly the home of Pyotr Rumyantsev who hosted the first Party congress in 1898. The building was destroyed during World War II (1941-1945), but reconstructed in 1948.

Museum of Belarusian Militia at Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republic of Belarus

Permanent exhibition updated on regular  basis  devoted  to the  national militia (police).

A. Bembel Museum of Modern Belarusian Sculpture

Along with permanent exhibits the works of young Belarusian sculptors as well as acknowledged masters are exhibited. Open Mon. through Sun.

Z.I. Azgur Memorial Museum

418 original sculptures. These are plaster portraits of State and Party leaders, figures of world and Soviet politics, culture and science. This museum is specially recommended her all admirers of Soviet monumental sculpture.

National Arts Museum of the Republic of Belarus

Admirers of painting, sculpture and drawing can find a lot of interesting things in this museum. There are 14,000 masterpieces of Belarusian, Russian and foreign authors here, including such well-known as Pan, Byalynitsky-Biroulya, Kudrevich, Shishkin, Serov, Savrasov, Kanova.

Museum "The Vankovich's House, culture and art of the first half of the 19th century"

Opened in 2000 on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the artist Vankovich. The museum's first and second halls are dedicated to Vankovich's life and works, and display archive documents, photos of the portraits painted by Vankovich and original pieces of painting and decorative and applied arts. The interior of the study and the grand partour has been restaured based on drawings and written documents. A portrait gallery occupies three rooms. The portraits well match the museum's overall concept giving a better ideas of the late 18th - first half of the 19th centuries household arrangement. Along with photos and archive material artworks created by artists - Vankovich's contemporaries - are exhibited as well. Open W-Su 10am-5pm. 33A Ul. Internatsionalnaya. T: 227 87 96.
